HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween to my "Deer" Family......The Wagners!

Happy Halloween to The Dempsey Grands!

What is wrong with this picture?  Does that "GT" on the golf cart stand for "great team?"

Happy Halloween to our Little Pirate and Snow White!
The Anderson Grands!  Gracie's 1st Halloween!

Braylee - Duke University Talent Identification Program!

Braylee received a letter yesterday stating that she has qualified to participate in the Duke University TIP!  Braylee has continued to excel in school and we are SO EXCITED over this honor!  She is in the top 5% of students her age in the entire state of Florida!

We are SUPER proud of you, Braylee!  We are looking forward to great accomplishments to continue in your young life.  We love you SO BIG!

Braylee's First Dance at DeerLake Middle School

Braylee is in the 6th grade and attended her very first school dance tonight.  What a BIG moment in her life!  She looks so beautiful and she is just as sweet!  We are so proud of you, Braylee! Before we know it, I will be posting prom pictures!

Hadley, Pearce, Braylee (pictured left)  …...they have been best of friends for years!

Just a Swing'n!

Well, I have seen it all!  The Wagner children have a swingset in the HOUSE!  What?  That's a great idea, Rosebud!  Not many children have a swingset in the house!

Mary Aaron is only three years old and has already learned how to swing by herself!  That is a BIG accomplishment at such a young age!  That is especially good for the parents:).  John doesn't seem to be very impressed:)

It was picture day at school, so when her mama picked her up, she told
Mary Aaron to smile like she did for her picture and this is what she got!

Mary Aaron learning about the letter "G" at preschool
so she tasted Grapefruit.  Yummy?

Britni - Valdosta State University Homecoming

Britni and a few of her college friends met at VSU last weekend for Homecoming.  It has been many years since they last got together and they look better than they did back in college!  All four of these girls were KA sweethearts (Rosemary was a KA sweetheart too).

Pax - Deer Hunting

Pax went with his daddy deer hunting on our land this past week.  He didn't kill a deer (or even see one), but he sure did look cute in his camaflouge!  Pax has his own real gun too!

Mary Aaron - FIRST Field Trip

Mary Aaron's class went on a field trip this past week and her very first field trip was to the pumpkin patch.  Look at the pumpkins everywhere and the corn field!  Lots of fun!
More pictures to come, but here are a couple posted from her teacher.

Gracie - Whatcha Doing?

Gracie has different moves now because she can army call backwards, in which she gets herself into places she cannot get out of.....like under the bed, and she can get up on all fours in a strange way sometimes.  Baby Yoga maybe?

I was thinking on the drive back to the house today that one of the best sounds ever is the babbling, jabbering, cackling sounds that a baby makes just enjoying their own little world while sitting in their car seat in the back.  It made my heart smile.  I am so happy that I get to love on this baby girl all day long.  Don't you just want to kiss on that face?!  This may be my last grandchild and I think of that a lot and want to savor the moments.

Crazy Sock Day!

KLES is having crazy sock day for breast cancer awareness and Braylee's dance team wore a pink breast cancer emblem on their faces.

VOTE!

Gracie Lou voted with me today!  Everybody must VOTE.....and vote Republican:).  It's my blog and I can promote what I like!

Anabelle Riding Horses Again!

Anabelle has never forgotten her love of horseback riding and has started riding equestrian riding.  You are looking good in your riding attire, Sugarbelle!  Looking forward to seeing you ride in competition!

Princess Grace

Now how did you get there, Miss Priss?
(She scoots backwards and gets herself into places she can't get out:)

Palmer - Sailboat Regotta and Classroom

Palmer had to make a sailboat as an assignment in Kindergarten for their annual Sailboat Regatta.  She wanted her sailboat to have a butterfly on it in memory of Mama Dee.  Isn't that just the sweetest thing ever?  I hope your sailboat wins!  Have fun!

UPDATE:  Captain Palmer's sailboat won the race with her opponent!  Way to go Palmer!

After sail-boating, we went to Palmer's classroom and helped with their snacks.

Glad to see nobody's fish moved to yellow or red today!

This is their folder.

HAPPY FALL Y'ALL!!

THE DEMPSEY GIRLS

GRACIE (Princess Grace)!

Our Indy Family and Hurricane Michael

Our Indiana family visited with us during their fall break and flew down a couple of days before Hurricane Michael made his ugly appearance.  Our Dempsey grands, Wagner Family, and Anderson Family stayed at our house for three days because, unbelievably, we never lost our electricity.....only lost water service.

Rosemary wanted to visit with her nieces, nephew, and family and boy did she get to visit!  Thankfully, everyone was safe and with little to no damage of property.

We miss our Rosebud, Mary Aaron, and John now that they are back home in Indiana!

The Wagner's are on their way to Georgia (departing from Indianapolis Airport)!

The Wagner's spent the first couple of days with The Dempsey Grands.  Mary Aaron loved spending time with Braylee, Anabelle, and Palmer.

Mary Aaron and John attended First Baptist Church Fall Festival while they were here.

At the Valdosta airport and sending them back home.  What an exciting and eventful week!
