The Wagner Family in Indy

The Wagner's are in Columbus, Indiana for a summer visit and they have been busy.  Bryce was a groomsman in his best friend's wedding and they also attended the Indy 500.  Having a blast!

Trip To Chicago

Wesley and I travelled to Chicago, IL, recently for his company trip and we walked down the famous "Michigan Avenue" street where all of the "rich-type" shops are located.  I actually walked into Saks Fifth Avenue (and walked right out) just so I could say I had been there.  I didn't buy a thing!

We, also, attended the Chicago Cubs vs. Atlanta Braves baseball game in the famous Wrigley Field!  We were actually on the roof top of a building watching the game.  The Cubs broke the Braves 14 game winning streak! BOO!

The Piano Dress

Gracie Lou dons the infamous "Piano Dress!"  My daughter, Britni, first wore this dress when she was 6 years old (37 years ago)!  Gracie is only four years old and this dress is a little big on her right now, but I wanted to make sure I had a picture of her in this dress while she was still staying with me.

I think every daughter and granddaughter wore this dress and it is still so beautiful to this day!

Chemo Days For Dad

Rosemary likes Dad's bald head!

Papa and Braylee - pre-chemo!  Look at that hair!

What a handsome bald-headed man!

The Edwards Cancer Center people gave Wesley a hat to wear on his bald head.
It is especially made for chemo patients and has extra cushion on the inside and a
kind man donates the hats to the patients.

Animal Kingdom at Disney

The Dempsey's had a mini vacation trip and went to the Animal Kingdom!

Anabelle and Palmer's Baptism

A few weeks ago, Anabelle and Palmer (at separate times) told their parents that they had accepted Jesus into their heart and wanted to be baptized at Mama Lou and Papa's church at First Baptist-Moultrie.  They met with Pastor Matt and were so excited about their decision and baptism.  Papa and I, along with their parents, were so excited that they wanted to be baptized at the church where their mama grew up attending and where their mama and daddy were married.

They were baptized today, June 5, 2022, at First Baptist Church.  It was all so very special.  All of the family was there except for The Wagner Family.  They were visiting their home town of Columbus, Indiana for the month of June and unable to attend.

Our hearts are full and blessed.  Papa and I are so grateful for Britni and Dwight raising their children to know our Lord and Savior.  What a meaningful and memorable event.

One proud Mama Lou!

Praise The Lord!
