Anabelle and Palmer - Basketball

Can you believe that Anabelle and Palmer, both, made the Deerlake basketball team?!!!!!  How exciting is that!!!!  Anabelle is in the 8th grade and Palmer in the 6th grade.  Anabelle is a "starter" and doing a great job.

That girl is playing basketball and travel ball.  She is quite the athlete!  She will run track in the spring.

Palmer's 6th Grade Homecoming Dance

Palmer's 6th grade dance was different from the dress-up style dances.  They went in costumes and Palmer and her friends dressed up as volleyball players.  They made up the name of their team and ordered t-shirts.  So cute!

Oh, DEER!

Pax shot his first deer of the season!  He got a doe.  Pax is in the 5th grade and is 11 years old.  YAY PAX!

Anchor Club - Braylee

This is Braylee's last year in the Anchor Club at Chiles High School.  Braylee is president of the Anchor Club.  YAY!  The dinner/initiation was held at Braylee's house again this year.

Palmer's 6th Grade Year of Volleyball

Palmer's Deerlake volleyball team did not lose a game the entire season but lost in the championship game.  They had beaten Montford twice during the regular season but lost to them in the championship game.  There is always next year!

Anabelle and Travel Ball

Anabelle made the "Tallahassee Lady Bombers" softball team.  It is a travel ball team and Anabelle is loving it!  She has her mama's and my #15!

Braylee - Homecoming - Senior Year

Braylee and lots of her friends went to the Senior Dance.  Braylee is in the 12 grade this year and it's going by too fast.

Braylee is SO beautiful!

Braylee and Ethan Ekk (just as friends. They didn't go to homecoming together).

Senior Night For Harrison

Harrison had his Senior Night at halftime of the football game.  Harrison is a kicker for the team and does an outstanding job!

Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene showed its ugly face in North Florida, South Georgia and up the coast all the way to North Carolina.  It was devastating to many areas, but fortunately, we only had a lot of limbs and debris.  Many people lost their homes and some even their lives.  It was all horrible.

I spent the night at Adam and Julie's house because they don't have any trees in their yard so it was safer for me to stay with them.

The Wagner Family went to Brock's house at The Villages so they would be safe (they have a LOT of trees in their yard).

The next day, The Dempsey Family surprised me by showing up and helping me clean up my yard and land.  Adam stopped by later and helped too.  I was SO thankful for the help!

Mary Aaron and Girl Scouts

Mary Aaron is big into Girl Scouts and she recently participated in a ceremony where she stepped it up a notch......from a brown vest to a green vest (I'll have to ask Rosemary the correct name for this ceremony).  Anyway......Mary Aaron is a great Girl Scout!  She is busy now selling Girl Scout cookies and has already exceeded her goal!
