Tuesday in Virginia

I couldn't wait to be the first person into Belle's room when she woke up this morning (6:30 a.m.) and Belle was standing up in her crib, holding on to the rails, jumping up and down with excitement until she realized that it wasn't her mama!  She took one look at me and fell back onto the crib mattress and started crying!  She wanted her mama!  She knows her routine every morning and she didn't like someone else coming into her room to get her out of bed!  Little STINKERBELLE!
Belle is ALWAYS crawling under the furniture and into EVERYTHING!

If Belle gets into something that she shouldn't be doing, Braylee just picks her up and moves her!

Dressed and ready for a day of shopping and a few sights of Virginia!

Belle got a new hat!

The end of a perfect day

My Virginia Visit - June 27, 2011

I have been waiting for two months to visit Britni, Dwight, Braylee & Belle in Virginia and I FINALLY arrived on Monday!  The tears began to flow before the plane even landed.  I was so excited to see Britni and the two GRANDS standing there waiting for me.  I could see them from a distance as I began the walk through the airport.  How wonderful!

Braylee waiting patiently at the airport for Mama Lou to arrive!

Tears of Joy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anabelle is always everywhere that Braylee is and Braylee doesn't seem to mind.

I loved getting to give Belle a bottle and putting her to bed.

Happy Father's Day to a Wonderful Father!

Miss you and love you so much, but very thankful for the 15 wonderful years that we had together.

Father's Day with the Dempsey's

Dwight had an extra special father's day with two girls!  I'm surprised that he didn't have his fingernails polished and hair curled!

Can't wait to see everyone next week!

The Overnight Kitten

Recently, Britni took Braylee and Belle to a pet store in Virginia.  Braylee fell in love with a dog, but the dog just wasn't a practical pet, with them living in an apartment, so they got a little kitten.  Britni is highly allergic to cat hair, so she held the baby kitten for a long time and never had a reaction , so she figured that she wasn't allergic to the cat, so she bought it for Braylee.

Well, that didn't last long!  Only overnight!  Britni finally reacted to the cat hair so she had to take the kitten back to the pet store the next morning.  Braylee understood that the cat made her mama sick and Britni said that Braylee was fine with it, but the person that was the sad one.........was Dwight!  Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Beach Time with Ansley

We had a great time on Jekyll Island Beach with Ansley!  She told us just where to sit and she told me to sit down and "criss-cross applesauce!"  I haven't heard that phrase since my children were little.  Ansley is so precious!  She looks like a California girl with her blond hair, blue eyes, and a great tan!

Our House is TOO Quiet!

Wesley and I drove Britni, Braylee, and Belle to the airport in Atlanta Sunday morning.  We were so sad to see them leave.  Words cannot express the wonderful feeling each morning to wake up to those special hugs and kisses from the GRANDS!

Belle, standing up in her crib, holding on to the rail, jumping up and down and squealing with delight when you enter her room because she knows you are there to pick her up.

Braylee walking down the stairs into our arms, with her blonde hair all over her head, with a great big warm hug!  Oh, how I am going to miss those babies in the morning!  I have tears now just thinking about it!

Rosemary and Bryce met us at the airport so that they could say good-bye to Britni, Braylee, & Belle also.  Yesterday, May 21st, was Rosemary's birthday, so we got to spend a little time with her too.
