Our Dancing Angel

Braylee danced her very first solo yesterday and it was to the song, Amazing Grace, and she did so in remembrance of Mama Dee.  Braylee chose an all white dance costume and she looked like an angel dancing on a cloud.

Thank you for dancing for Mama Dee!  I know that she was watching from heaven and dancing with Braylee.  We are so proud of you, Beautiful Braylee!

Happy 5th Birthday, Mary Aaron!

Mary Aaron is FIVE years old today!  She gets to continue opening presents with celebrating her birthday!  She started out with doughnuts for breakfast!  YAY!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Four of our grands spent the night with us and we celebrated the new year together with our own fireworks and sparklers!

Anabelle, Palmer, and Pax brought the new year in with snacks!  Gracie went to bed long before midnight.

Palmer's Christmas Concert

Palmer's 1st grade class (and 5th grade) performed a Christmas concert at Chiles High School auditorium.  Palmer played the tambourine for one of the songs.  She did a great job and really kept the beat with the song!

Merry Christmas!

We had a wonderful Christmas beginning with our annual Dekle Christmas on the Eve of Christmas Eve.  On Christmas Eve, we had lunch and opened gifts with The Anderson Family and then went to Tallahassee to go to the Christmas Eve church service with The Dempsey's and then opened gifts afterwards.

We missed our Wagner Family!

Sweet and Thoughtful Pax

Each Sunday, during the church service, our pastor asks anyone that has a special prayer request to fill out the card in the pews and drop it in the offering plate when passed.  There are people in the prayer room that receive the requests and pray specifically for those people during the church service.

Our six year-old grandson, Pax, filled out one of the cards today and dropped it in the offering plate and requested prayer for his friend, Tripp DeMott.  Tripp rode his bicycle into the path of a car several months ago and miraculously survived!  He continues to need lots of prayer.

I just teared up when his daddy showed this to me.  How sweet and thoughtful is Pax to remember his friend, especially during this Christmas season!

Thank you Paxton Jack Anderson for being such a compassionate friend to Tripp!  We love you!!
