John - Soccer

John and his teammates had another successful soccer season......CHAMPS!  That makes two years in a row!

John is a SUPERB soccer player and it is so much fun watching him play.  He has improved tremendously since last year and he is one more go-getter and has so much knowledge about the game.

Just look at these action shots!

Foul!!!!???

Mary Aaron - Softball

Mary Aaron played softball again this past season and did a great job with hitting and fielding.

Pax - Walk-Off GRAND SLAM!

Pax hit a walk-off grand slam at a recent baseball tournament.  They were losing the game 3 to 6.  It was the LAST inning, the bases were loaded with two outs.  Pax was at bat with 2 strikes.  The next pitch he hit a home run!!!!!!

WHAT!!!!  A walk-off GRAND SLAM to win the game!  Pax was the MVP for the entire tournament (including all teams).  He, also, hit a second home run in that tournament too.  YAY, PAX!

His daddy was some kind of excited!

John - Knowledge Fairytale Day

The first graders at KLES had been readying about fairytales for several month and they had the cutest contest testing their knowledge.  They were in groups and the teachers asked them a question about a certain fairytale and they had to decide on the answer as a group.

Each 1st grader drew a picture of a fairytale and John's drawing won for his class and his drawing was put on the shirt that each child in his class wore that day.  Congratulations John!  Great artwork!

I loved the way they huddled together to come up with
the answer to the question.

John's drawing is on the shirt with his name as the artist!
