Pax - Target Shooting

Pax did a little target shooting with his 22 rifle.  He hit the mark every time!  Look out, Daddy!  He is going to get a deer before you do!  LOL!

Gracie - 8 Months Old

The months are passing so quickly and our little Princess Grace is already 8 months old!  She is such a doll baby and a delight!  She sits up alone very well and has begun to let you know if she doesn't like something.  She is learning to arch her back and give a little wail if she is unhappy where you sat her down (especially in the high chair).  She can sit up from laying on her stomach she also army crawls backwards. I love watching her little mind work!

Harrison and The State Livestock Show

Harrison showed three cows this past weekend at the State Livestock Show (aka....Fat Cattle Show.....that tells you how old I am)!  I think one was a heifer and one was an angus and I am not sure of the other cow (steer).

I am so proud of you, H!  It takes a lot of work to feed, wash, brush, walk daily, etc. to get a cow ready for a show.  I suppose they are not called cows nowadays though.  Anyway, KUDOS to you!

Grandparents Day at KLES

We had a wonderful Grandparents Day at KLES with Anabelle and Palmer.  This was Palmer's FIRST Grandparents Day at KLES and she was so excited that we were there to have lunch with her, and then, we had lunch with Anabelle.

We also took them to the Book Fair.  Anabelle told Palmer that she is going to love it because Mama Lou and Papa buy them LOTS of books!

Pax - Flag Football

Pax scored a goal at last night's flag football game!  He also kept a man from scoring!  Way to play ball!  Pax is the quarterback for the team.  His daddy is helping coach the team.

MAGNOLIA COVE

Wesley and I have decided to name our little piece of heaven on earth, MAGNOLIA COVE.  For 28 years, we have called our place Quailcove because we had so many quail on our 23.75 acres of land when we first built our home.  Over time, the quail have vanished from our wooded area and magnolia trees have voluntarily grown up everywhere.

We love the magnolia trees!  They are so SOUTHERN, and since we have so many magnolia trees growing wild in our woods and yard, we decided to change the name of our place from Quailcove to Magnolia Cove.

Palmer and Soccer

Palmer played in her first soccer game today and what a soccer player she turned out to be!  Just look at that face!  This girl means business!  That is a face of shear determination!!  She has the very same facial expression that her mama had back when she was playing sports in her younger days.  Unbelievable!  She is her mother's child for sure!  Go Palmer Grace!!!!  Get 'um!
