Tears started flowing as soon as I stepped off of the plane in Norfolk, VA! Just the anticipation of seeing my granddaughter's (and daughter) as I walked through the airport to the baggage claim area where I would see them for the first time was overwhelming. As I walked through the corridor, I didn't see them anywhere, but suddenly, I heard a little voice cry out, "Mama Lou" and I saw a precious little four year old running toward me as fast as she could. I couldn't help but to burst into tears to hear that little voice and see that smiling face! Belle was just as happy to see me, too!
I leave in the morning. The trip has past too quickly. I'm sitting here now, babysitting my grandchildren, while Britni and Dwight have gone to see a movie, something they rarely get to do, and it was hard to convince them to go. I'm watching my two GRANDS play all around me. I'm going to miss this tomorrow! A few more months and they will be home for good!

| We got to visit Dwight on-site at the bridge that he helped design. They are in Viriginia while Dwight oversees the construction of the bridge. It's cold in VA, so he has to be very wrapped up and tied-up when he is on top of those tall bridge columns that you see in the background. |
