July 4th Fun at Lake Blackshear!

Most of the Dekle family celebrated July 4th at Ricky and Jackie Sloan's lake house at Lake Blackshear.  They have a beautiful place on the lake and we all had lots of fun......until.....my brother, Doug, tried to show off his skills (or lack of) water skiing and he fell and broke his pelvic bone in three places!  Therefore, the day ended with taking him to the emergency room at Phoebe Putney Hospital, where he spent the next five days!  Doug was told by one of the nurses, that next year, STAY ON THE PORCH!"  Other than that incident, we had a great time!  Thanks Ricky and Jackie!  We hope that this will be an annual event!!
