Thanksgiving 2017

We had a great Dekle Thanksgiving on the eve of Thanksgiving at Mitzi and Donnie's house. We celebrated our first Thanksgiving without my mama (Mama Dee), without Margie (Mimi) and without Jack (Daddy Jack).  They all three passed away since last year's Thanksgiving.  I am so glad Donnie acknowledged the lack of their presence with us in person, but with us in spirit.

Thanksgiving Day 2017 ~ we had a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch with The Dempsey's!  Great food and great fellowship!  Braylee had written a Thanksgiving poem to that was place next to our tablesetting .  So special and heart-warming.

The Next Day (Friday) ~ The Dempsey Family went to the Citadel Basketball game (Dwight's alma mater).  How cute are they?!  Braylee is the only one hatless!
