Dekle Easter 2018

Our annual Easter Lunch and Hunt was very successful and fun!  Ava won the grand prize egg ($110)!  It was our first Easter without Mama Dee.  I talked to her all morning, before everyone arrived, about how much we all miss her and wish she could be with us; although, we know she wouldn't trade places for anything.  Mama has the grand prize every day!

It wasn't the same without Mama Dee and all I could think about was how she looked last year at Easter.  Her hot pink and green top, white pants, big white hat, and as always, a smile through her pain and heartache.  I can't believe Mama has been gone for eight months now.  Why don't you come and see me, Mama?  I want to see you.  Please visit me soon and let me know you are ok.  I love you to the moon and back and life will never be the same without you, but I will make the best of it, because YOU showed me how to walk through life AND death with such strength, graciousness, and gracefulness.  You are my sunshine!
