Below is her mama's post about it all.
I have posted several pictures of our Anabelle riding/jumping horses! But out of them all, I think her Daddy and I are most proud of this one today! A few minutes before this jump, Belle was thrown from her horse. It was her first “big” fall after a couple of years riding. She got thrown pretty far as it was in the middle of a jump.
It wasn’t either ones fault, just a lot that goes into every step, timing and jump and it just so happened, at the moment, they were both off. We knew someday it would happen after jumping long enough. Her horse got spooked and ran to the barn.
I jumped my own fence to get to my daughter along with her coach who was already in the ring. Belle slowly got up and was fighting tears. Her coach and I asked if anything hurt...head, neck, arms, etc... and Belle asked “where is my horse?” We told her and she asked for us to get her horse, she wanted to jump the fence again! I objected and she said “no Mama, let me jump!” It’s the only time my daughter has ever told me “no” in that tone and I backed down.
This was the next jump!
