Papa had back surgery yesterday in hopes of getting rid of all the pain he has had in his hip for the past two or three years. As they wheeled him off to surgery, he commented that he hoped to be rid of the pain in his rear forever, and I told him, "Ha, you'll never get rid of me!"
Gracie got to see him today and Papa said that she is the BEST medicine of all! She gave him a cookie and a big hug and kiss!
