First FSU Home Game

 My Darling Wesley (Big Boy),

We did our best to honor your memory at the first FSU home game (FSU/Southern Miss).  It was a day that we all knew would be hard to get through so we tailgated most of the day.  Dwight and Bryce went early and set everything up for us (even had a TV setup).  Dwight grilled the best hamburgers and Bryce grilled a Boston Butt.  We had a feast and it was all wonderful.

All of our family attended except for The Andersons.  Pax had a baseball tournament, in which they were the CHAMPS, so they couldn't attend.

Braylee wore your FSU jersey (the one with the "00") that you always wore.  It was a dress on her and she looked so cute in your jersey.  Braylee, also, used your SEAT 1 ticket to enter the gates as she carried your FSU hat (Bobby Bowden hat).

We all listened to the FSU band play under the bleachers like we used to do and we did THE CHOP!  Then, we made that walk......the walk we always made up the ramp.  Braylee, Anabelle and I walked hand-hand up the ramp and then Braylee and I held hands as the two of us walked up the short ramp to our seats.  My heart was pounding!  Seeing YOUR seat for the first time was extremely emotional for us all.  Braylee placed your FSU hat in your seat because we wanted to honor your memory in a special way.  We left your seat, with you hat in it, until after the kickoff, then I sat in your seat.  It was an honor and a privilege to sit in your seat.

FSU has started the season off as an awesome team!  They were ranked in the TOP 10 before the season started, but after beating the No. 5 ranked team (LSU), we took their No.5 spot and then FSU pounded Southern Miss on the first home game, so we are now ranked No. 3!  I know you are chopping away in heaven.  Like Britni said, you probably have all of the angels doing The Chop!  I'm sure you had a talk with former coach Bobby Bowden because you were one of the best "Bleacher Coaches" ever:)!

We all miss you dearly, love you, talk about you very often and still cry just about daily.  See you soon!
