What Are We Going To Do With That Anabelle!

Today, Britni walked into her bedroom and Anabelle was sitting on her bed eating doughnuts!  It's the first time that Anabelle has climbed onto the bed by herself.  I guess she thought that she could hide in the bedroom and eat her doughnuts without having to share!  Britni said that Belle had powdered doughnuts all over the bed!

Britni is Pregnant with Baby #3

Britni has finally announced that she and Dwight are expecting another baby in September.  Guess what other major event is taking place in September????  Rosemary is getting married on September 8th and Britni's baby is due on September 28th!  What an exciting month September will be!!  Not to mention.....BUSY!!

Mama Lou's Visit to Virginia

Tears started flowing as soon as I stepped off of the plane in Norfolk, VA!  Just the anticipation of seeing my granddaughter's (and daughter) as I walked through the airport to the baggage claim area where I would see them for the first time was overwhelming.  As I walked through the corridor, I didn't see them anywhere, but suddenly,  I heard a little voice cry out, "Mama Lou" and I saw a precious little four year old running toward me as fast as she could.  I couldn't help but to burst into tears to hear that little voice and see that smiling face! Belle was just as happy to see me, too!

I leave in the morning.  The trip has past too quickly.  I'm sitting here now, babysitting my grandchildren, while Britni and Dwight have gone to see a movie, something they rarely get to do, and it was hard to convince them to go. I'm watching my two GRANDS play all around me.  I'm going to miss this tomorrow!  A few more months and they will be home for good!

We got to visit Dwight on-site at the bridge that he helped design.  They are in Viriginia while Dwight oversees the construction of the bridge.  It's cold in VA, so he has to be very wrapped up and tied-up when he is on top of those tall bridge columns that you see in the background.

Another Adventurous Day With Belle!

Britni knew that Belle was too quiet, so she went to check on her, and she had emptied out one of the clothes storage bins and had climbed in!  Yesterday, the dryer, today, the clothes bin.  What will tomorrow bring in the adventurous life of Belle!  Can't wait to get my hands on that baby girl!

Don't Leave The Dryer Door Open!

This morning, Britni was washing and drying clothes.  She put the washed clothes into the dryer and walked off to get more clothes to put in the washer and when she walked back to the washer/dryer, she found BELLE sitting in the dryer.....smiling!  Belle had taken the clothes out of the dryer and climbed in and was enjoying a new place to play!  One of life's lessons.....don't leave the dryer door open, because where there is a will.....there is a way....for that Anabelle!
