July 4th Fun at Lake Blackshear!

Most of the Dekle family celebrated July 4th at Ricky and Jackie Sloan's lake house at Lake Blackshear.  They have a beautiful place on the lake and we all had lots of fun......until.....my brother, Doug, tried to show off his skills (or lack of) water skiing and he fell and broke his pelvic bone in three places!  Therefore, the day ended with taking him to the emergency room at Phoebe Putney Hospital, where he spent the next five days!  Doug was told by one of the nurses, that next year, STAY ON THE PORCH!"  Other than that incident, we had a great time!  Thanks Ricky and Jackie!  We hope that this will be an annual event!!

Braylee and Belle Have a New Puppy!

Britni had already arranged for Braylee and Belle to have a new puppy when they arrived back to Georgia.  Papa and Mama Lou picked the puppy up a week prior to their arrival and had the big surprise waiting for them!

A Day in the Life of Anabelle!

Britni and Braylee went to see their new house, so Papa and I kept Anabelle at home with us.  Belle played hard outside.  It was very hot and she loved the cool water from the water hose, so I took her clothes off and just let her run around outside in a diaper.

Braylee's Dance Recital

Papa, Rosemary, and I flew to Virginia to attend Braylee's dance recital and to BRING THEM HOME!!  Wesley drove Britn's car home and "the girls" flew home (Dwight has to stay in Virginia until the bridge project is finished).

Mama Lou and Papa gave Braylee a necklace with dancing shoes charm.
