It's Snowing!

It's was snowing in Columbus, Indiana!  John and Mary Aaron always have a great time in the snow.  Something that is RARELY seen in South Georgia!

Wedding Bells

 Doug was married to Susan Jones Covington on January 9, 2021.  It was a very sweet ceremony at the Gazebo on DeMott Lake with the reception at the Galleria.

Susan is a sweetheart and we wish them the best!

Baking Cookies With Gracie

 I thoroughly enjoy baking cookies with Gracie.  She makes a BIG mess but she has such a good time.  I always give her some cookie dough and a rolling pin and let her pretend while I am rolling and cutting out the cookies.

She may make a mess but she cleans it up!  LOL!

Gracie gave her Paw Patrols a treat (Silver Bells) because they brushed
their teeth and went to the potty.  LOL!

 

First Annual Quail Hunt

 We went on a quail hunt at Boggy Pond Plantation and had a great time!  This was our first family quail hunt.  The Dempsey's were not able to go this time, but Troy joined us!

Happy 6th Birthday Mary Aaron

 Mary Aaron is six years old today and the highlight of turning six for her is that she finally gets to chew gum:).  She has been excited about turning six years old for two years now and all she really wanted was gum for her birthday!  LOL!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! 2021

 Halleluiah!!!  2020 is OVER!  HELLO 2021!

2020 was a very bad year for our country because of a global pandemic called COVID-19.  A very deadly virus that China released worldwide.  In the United States alone, over 20 million people were affected by COVID19 with around 350,000 deaths in 2020.

So far, only Rosemary and Bryce have had the virus in our family.  A vaccination has recently been approved by the FDA and Wesley and I hope to be eligible to take the vaccination very soon.  Our country is not "out of the woods" yet and the virus is worse than ever at this time, but hopefully, with the vaccination on the horizon, the virus will soon be on its way out of our country.....and the world!

As always, Britni, Rosemary and Adam called us right after midnight to wish us a Happy New Year.  They always race to see who calls us first and Rosemary won this year! LOL!  I love that tradition and hope that our children never grow out of calling to wish us a Happy New Year.

Bryce's Amazing Achievement

 Bryce has worked hard studying this past year to pass the Florida Bar and he achieved that goal and received his official certificate and was sworn in to practice law in Florida......all in hopes of moving his family to Florida soon.
