Fun, Fun, Fun!

Gracie is sitting up now and having a great time exploring the world from a different "point of view!"  She is six months old and what fun to watch a baby grow and learn every day.  As a Mama Lou (grandmama), I love watching her eyes as she so intensely looks at things that I take for granted.

For instance, when we are sitting on the swing, she loves listening to the wind chimes and trying to figure out where the sound is coming from, and when I am humming a song, she keeps looking at me and wondering where that sound is coming from when my lips are not moving.

Ahhh…….to see the world through the eyes of a baby is fascinating. How they MUST touch and taste everything.  During story time, Gracie had rather taste the book than to look at the pictures. I enjoy watching her learn.

Gracie has begun to realize when you sit her down, in the walker, the high chair, or walk out of the room.  Of course, Mama Lou doesn't let this baby even whimper without picking her back up:)!  My day is devoted to her every need.

She gets so excited when she sees her mama, daddy, or Pax at the end of the day.  Pax LOVES his baby sister and he is a lot of "live" entertainment for her!  It warms my heart to see how they interact with each other.  Pax said once said to me, "I wish I could marry her."  How sweet is that?
