I wanted to enjoy every moment of today but it went by too fast! Oh, how I love to just sit and watch this baby girl. I can just see her mind working. She loves to squeal loudly when she wants something, and I love it! I realize that it's the only way she can communicate and make you understand that she REALLY wants a certain thing!
I love the way she loves the pantry because she knows there is something yummy to eat in those cabinets (I love the pantry too)!
I love her independence that she is quickly learning more and more about (i.e. today she would not hear of me helping her up the garage door steps. She squealed loudly until I put her back to the first step and let her do it by herself).
I love the way she pitches a fit and bangs her head on the floor. She really gives herself a reason to cry when she does that! I don't worry about it because I read that it is normal for some babies to bang their heads. It's just their way of showing frustration, especially when she can't talk yet. Don't we as adults want to bang our heads against something sometimes?
I love the way she carries a tune to some of the toddler songs. She can't say the words, but she can sure hum the tune to the songs very well! Some of her favorites are "Jesus Loves Me," "Old McDonald Had A Farm," "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," and the "ABC's."
I love her sweet kisses and her dimpled-face grin. I love the way people are drawn to her when we are out and about. She's just so adorable in her cute outfit and big bow! Everybody loves that olive skin tone that she got from her mama.
I love the way she knows when we go to Publix that she gets a cookie and a balloon.
Gracie Lou is my brown-eyed baby girl and I suppose by now you know I am smitten!
Here are some pics from our day. Also, she got to eat whatever she wanted to eat today!
